Ombre/Powder Brows

What is Ombre Brow or Powder Brows?

If you normally fill your Brows in daily with makeup and are tired of doing it, this is the solution for you! Ombre shading is a semi permanent technique that is done by using a small hand-held machine and pigments that are customized to your skin tone and hair color. This service adds depth and definition to the brows for a very natural powdered brow. This technique mimics daily makeup done with eyebrow pencil or powder, and is a great option for everyone, especially blondes! It is also ideal for clients who have a previous brow tattoo. The tails of the brow are darker and fade lighter toward the beginning of the brow, creating the soft makeup effect. This technique can be customized to create a soft ombre or fully shaded effect. The result is a natural, defined brow with a soft powdery finish. Keep an eye out on social media for special pricing soon!

What’s the difference between Micro Blading and Powder Brow?

MICRO BLADING is ultimately what you probably think about when someone talks about permanent brows.

  • It is suitable for normal skin types for the best results. Not suitable for oily/combo skin or thin/thick skin.

  • Pigment distribution can vary overtime on the skin, resulting in inconsistent coloring and pigment loss.

  • Not meant for repetition, can potentially lead to scar tissue.

  • Results can last anywhere from 9 months to 2 years.

OMBRE/POWDER BROW is a new, softer technique.

  • Suitable for all skin types.

  • It’s an even, micro- pixelated distribution of pigment throughout the brows that ages well.

  • Most gentle and can be continued or repeated on the skin annually for maintenance.

  • Soft, buildable color that can last for up to 2 years and indefinitely with annual color refresh sessions

Why I chose to train and certify in Ombre/Powder Brows.

Over 10 years in the wedding makeup industry, I have heard too many times women complaining about having to fill their brows in everyday or even just not knowing how to.

Being blonde myself (ok maybe not naturally!), I feel like powder brow is so soft looking. It is the only semi permanent brow I would consider for myself- so I thought- there has to be many more people like me, who want the convenience of not having to pencil in their brows everyday. It really is soft, powdery and buildable. Best of all, it will look most natural on all my blondies and clients who prefer a softer brow!
